This is a stainless steel battery support mechanism, made within the EEC exclusively for us.  It is suitable for all 750cc Commandos produced 1971 onward & also all MK1 850cc Commandos produced before engine number 306591.  It is designed to support the standard 12N6 & the up rated 12N9 batteries.  It works through the use of a spring loaded retaining bracket, eliminating the probability of your battery becoming detached on these models.
