The good thing about restored bikes is that they are not subject to the same importation regulations that new bikes are.  We are able to build an age related bike (e.g. 1972 Commando) and this can easily be imported into most countries with the minimum of fuss and effort.  Our restored bikes are generally built with a mixture of 2nd hand parts, where good 2nd hand parts are available and new parts where 2nd hand parts are not available or unwise to be used e.g. cables, electrics, tyres etc.

Prices Start At £8750 + VAT
VAT is approximately £400 on a 2nd hand build
For This You Get An Age Related Restored Bike That Looks Mint

This price includes registration, yellow rear number plate, MOT and road tax.  Most 2nd hand builds come with Boyer electronics included in the price (Pazon on MK3).  You can choose any solid colour for your bike by providing a paint sample or colour code.  Metallic paint and duo colour tanks are an optional extra.  Since these bikes are restoration projects of existing bikes, they come with an age related registration number (a yellow number plates is supplied, if you require a black aluminium pressed plate please supply them to us upon notification of the registration number or we can get one for you at a small additional cost).  There is a choice on most second hand builds of either a single lightweight disc brake (usually 13") or a period style Twin leading shoe drum brake.  There are many upgrade options available for an additional fee e.g. belt drive kit (which is highly recommended), external oil filter, upgraded double disc kits, all parts stainless steel, etc.  All bikes come with the recommended Avon Roadrunner or Super Venom tyres unless Dunlop TT100 type are selected to give a more period appearance.  If your insurance company requires a certified letter from us of the bikes value, this can be supplied too for a small charge.

All restoration bikes come with:-
Modern clocks
Stainless steel mudguards
Chrome headlight
If you wish any of these items to be supplied as period items then we can often source these for you at an additional cost.

If you wish to purchase a fully reconditioned 2nd hand bike from us, please contact us with your requirements.  We take an initial deposit of £500.  Once we have your initial deposit, we will commence our search for a bike in need of restoration that matches your criteria.  Once we have sourced what we need to match your criteria we will contact you for a 50% deposit and upon receipt, we will commence the restoration immediately.  Build time is approximately 6 months from the date of receipt of your 50% deposit.  Delivery time is the build time plus the time taken to register the bike (since government registration is out of our control, we cant give you an exact estimate on how long it will take to register as every case is different, but its generally a few weeks).  We ask our customers to be aware that although we generally build bikes within a few weeks, in the past we have encountered problems finding certain spares that totally halt the build whilst we search for the required part, in these circumstances your build can easily drag on past its estimated completion date, sometimes by many months.  We create the magic, in that we turn a lump of rusting metal into a beautiful machine but we are not magicians and cant conjure up some critically required parts.  When you purchase a bike from us, you need to appreciate this in advance as being hounded makes us miserable, rest assured though, we are as keen to finish the bike as you are to receive it.

Please Note, All Workshop Services / Repairs / Restoration Work Etc That Totals Over £750 Must Be Paid Via Cheque, Cash or Bank Transfer.  If You Wish To Pay By Credit Card, Please Add 2% To Your Invoice Total.  All Moneys Must Be Cleared Before Collection Is Arranged.

All bikes are assembled in a clean working area and can be inspected at any time without prior appointment.
We do not compromise on any new bike, restoration or 2nd hand build.
All extras to the general specification are at cost price.

We require a £500 initial deposit and then a 50% deposit when we are ready to build the bike.  We then require a further 25% when the power unit is fitted and the final 25% upon completion of the build (prior to registration).

You Definitely Can't Beat Experience

Les Emery has been building and tuning Norton & Norvil Racers for over 30 years.
During this period he has modified and designed hundreds of components.
Most of the improvements to be seen on new genuine Norton & genuine Norvil parts - are directly attributed to him.
Les & John Brisco build all our race engines & gearboxes.
Les was one of the first people to use belt drives - in the early 1970's - to improve gearbox reliability.
In the 1980's Les was approached by Haynes to re-write the Norton Dominator workshop manual
and his extensive alterations can still be seen in the latest editions of this manual.
Les' speciality is the building of new historically styled Norton and Norvil motorcycles to his clients' own specification.
He can also offer expert advice on what is best suited to his clients' needs & prides himself on his ability
to produce a beautiful motorcycle - both visually and on performance.
