please allow at least 10 working days for cheque clearance. 4] Postal

Please use our order form when ordering via post or fax, a copy of this is in the centre of this catalogue & also can be printed from our CD catalogue. Ensure that you fill in all information that we will require in order to process your order swiftly, including your name, address & contact details. It is very important to QUOTE YOUR ENGINE & CHASSIS NUMBER WITH EVERY ORDER. Orders received that do not contain our order numbers will be processed after orders that contain all of the details we require (please request our free parts catalogue to obtain the correct order numbers, we recommend you also buy an Original Factory Parts List (if one is available for your model), these are invaluable in determining your requirements). Orders are also accepted via our web site, email, phone, fax and in person at our company premises or at the bike shows we attend.
All goods in the catalogues are offered subject to availability. We endeavour to despatch orders within 7 working days of receipt (though we are usually quicker than this). Please allow a realistic period of time for delivery, especially for overseas orders & help us by avoiding premature enquires by telephone (should your order not arrive within two weeks, please contact us, parcels do get lost in the post from time to time and we will need to trace the parcel within 30 days of despatch or we cannot claim, on your behalf, for it’s loss). Orders may be delayed during our busy period or where we are out of stock of any items. In the event that we are out of stock of any items we will determine whether to ship your order part sent or hold it awaiting delivery of spares. Please advise when you place your order if you would like your order to ship part sent should any items be out of stock, or whether you would prefer it to be held until complete. Goods lost in transit will be subject to investigation by the company used for transit. If the investigation shows the customer's claim to be valid, a replacement consignment will be sent in due course. Orders worth over £50 are automatically sent with parcel insurance. Please remember to allow sufficient funds for postage & packing, (15% for UK, 25% for Overseas). Any excess sent by cheque or bank draft will be credited to your account for use against future orders. If you are paying by credit or debit card we will work out the exact postage for you at the time of despatch & you do not need to work this out for yourself. Postage & Packing charges start at £3 plus vat for all orders. There has been a major alteration in the way that all of our couriers work out postage charges, unfortunately, our parcels now have to be priced on a weight versus volume basis, whichever is the greater. Parcel insurance is 2% (min £5.50). Please contact us if you require a postage quote ahead of placing an order, please supply to us the list of part numbers/descriptions of the parts that you wish to order and we will estimate postage. We regret that we cannot estimate postage unless part numbers are supplied. PRICES & SPECIFICATIONS Prices on this website are maintained regularly but there can be up to a 4 week delay in amending the web site with price changes. EXCHANGE / REFUND PROCEDURE
It is your responsibility to supply the correct order codes for the goods
you wish to purchase. Where no part number is supplied by you, we will
supply the part we consider correct given the information you have
supplied regarding your motorcycle. Should you wish to return your
purchase, you must contact us first to obtain a returns number. For your
own protection it is advisable to obtain a receipt when posting returns
and to pack items carefully to avoid damage. We only refund goods once we
receive them, if your item is lost in the post on the way to us you would
need to make a claim with the Royal Mail. The costs incurred in the return
of goods is generally non-refundable. We will credit your Norvil customer
account for returns within 28 days of receipt (this credit can be offset
against future orders or used for goods in exchange), this credit can not
be used until it has been applied to your Norvil account. If you want a
refund made in any other way please indicate this in a letter sent with
the items you are returning. Any goods returned for credit must be
returned within 14 days of receipt in an unmarked, re-sellable condition.
This does not affect your right to return faulty goods, but items will not
be accepted if returned as faulty after 14 days if the defect complained
of would have been obvious upon receipt. Non-faulty items can only be
returned after 14 days by prior agreement with us. Unsolicited late
returns, or items returned in a marked or modified condition may be
refused by us or subject to whatever charges or deductions we may feel
appropriate in the circumstances. The goods that we sell generally come
with a manufacturer’s warranty. All faulty items should be returned to us
whereupon we will return the items to the manufacturer on your behalf for
a replacement / repair. The manufacturer’s decision is final. Items that
have passed their warranty period will not be accepted, regardless of when
they were actually fitted. The warranty period on most goods is one
calendar year from the date of purchase (it is expressly NOT one year from
the date of fitment). No goods will be accepted without a proof of
purchase. Some goods have a shorter warranty, some have a longer warranty,
please check prior to purchase the length of warranty offered on the goods
you wish to purchase. Products used for any purpose other than for what
they were designed, carry no warranty, e.g. a road spare used for racing.
No parts contained within this catalogue are warranted for racing purposes
unless stated otherwise. Special order items cannot be returned for
exchange or refund unless the part is faulty.
The placing of an order with us constitutes an acceptance of these terms
and conditions of sale by the purchaser. Since no written acceptance of
orders is normally made by The Norvil Motorcycle Co Ltd, the Contract
between them and the customer shall be deemed to be made on the recorded
date of acceptance by The Norvil Motorcycle Co Ltd. |
